New studies show that concussions induce not only immediate cognitive impairment in the child but also may be a precursor of dementia later in life for these individuals. We are therefore collaborating on research to identify a rapid assessment tool for Concussion and traumatic brain injury.
Volunteer
Outgoing, reliable and bilingual volunteers are needed to help the Charity Director with fundraising in Quebec and Ontario. Main responsibilities include phoning and outreach to businesses, database entry and assisting in event coordination. We are looking for outgoing, friendly and responsive individuals with good communication skills in French and English, with an ability to network; experience with communications or marketing an asset, experience/knowledge in mental health an asset.
